"I have been asked what I mean by " word of honor". I will tell you: place me behind prison walls-walls of stone ever so high. ever so thick, reaching ever so far into the ground-there is a possibility that in some way or another I might be able to escape; but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk-like around me and have me give MY WORD OF HONOR never to cross it. CAN I GET OUT OF THAT CIRCLE? NO, NEVER! ID DIE FIRST."- Karl G. Maeser
In my personal opinion on this quote, I am set out to believe that the word of honor is very important and out rules other things. For instance, when I was a kid I would tell my dear oh father that I would finish my work before supper. Now, my word of honor was telling my father that my work will be done before supper. I was set off to tell myself that it wouldn't really matter to my dear oh father if I were to not finish my work till supper. I went to supper and as we were eating our food, my father asked me," my dear boy, did you finish your homework?". I replied," ....no father I didn't.." He had a disappointed look in his eyes. My word of honor didn't mean much to me at the time nor have much value to me as it really had. SO since there, I was set out to believe this quote and live by it.In this example, it shows the story of the little boy learning the importance of the word of honor. And what it means to have a word of honor he didn't want to disappoint his father. he chooses the right and lived with his word of honor.

Do you think you would like to be one? Why or why not?
I don't think I would like to be one the reason why is because it doesn't interest me at all. It's not the career that I envisioned my future to be, I personally want to be a psychologist. This career has to work with fellow doctors all the time, and the workspace is in a hospital which I'm not a big fan of.

The 10 Indian Commandments
In my personal opinion, these 10 commandments fall under the category of their own beliefs of how the world should have an idea of living. Mainly, how the humankind was "sought" to live when it was in the first beings of creation. A few of these commandments, I'm not going to be a hypocrite and say I don't agree with them at all. The real idea is that they should be taught and used no matter what, nor religion nor beliefs. We should really double check the things that we are doing as humankind and take a step back, and analyze the damage or the good that is going to come of it. As stated in commandments 10, where you have to take full responsibility for your actions. This commandment is supposed to be common sense, but like I've mentioned a couple of times. If it were common sense then, everyone would have it. The main point that I think we all or very few should eventually understand is that we all could modify our beliefs and these 10 commandments for instance. I nor anyone doesn't necessarily have live by anything word per word they can agree with some of it and modify what they don't agree on. Not everyone or everything is going to be exactly the same so why should we all think and believe the same things. And why do we have to be criticized if we don't, we have to be a kindness to where it's needed, as stated in the 5th commandment. Show us kindness and we would have no more conflict in the word or at least it will be lowered. To sum it all up these commandments have meaning and value to some but not to all.

Do you think you would like to be one? Why or Why not?
I don't think I would like to become one for many reasons, mainly since it doesn't interest me. The idea of working with patients that I have to conduct a treatment for them using radiation therapy scares me. Also delivering the idea to them and messing up and telling them the false information also scares me.

"A promise must never be broken."-Alexander Hamilton
In my personal opinion this quote by Alexander Hamilton, is set out to be the basics of being human. We all need to learn how to keep promises no matter what instead of learning how to break them. For instance, if you go out and your dad tells you to be back home by 6pm and you promise him that you will that's ctr person. You have loyalty , honesty, and noble. You are following the quote of Alexander Hamilton and being at level d the democracy level. Another example of this quote of it being ctw, is when you know that you've kept a promise of your sisters for two years and you think breaking the promise is a good idea. So you break it and next thing you know she finds out and it breaks her down. While on the other hand you should of kept the promise and everything would of been okay. Lastly, you should always keep your promises no matter the circumstances. IF its a bad promise then you should break it but other than that you will be okay. Remember to be a ctr person and be at level d the democracy level.

"Goodness is the only investment that never fails,"- Henry David Thoreau
In my personal opinion I'm set out to think that when you choose goodness as your initial thought and follow through you would never get in to trouble. On the other hand if you, were to go the other route and choose the bad and follow through with it you will have to suffer the consequences. No matter which path you take , because no path is every the same there will always be little problems along the road that lead to the grand finale. Which will result to the ending of your decision. For instance, in the video that was shown in my class was based of 10 teens who go to jail, for committing felonies. They choose to do the wrong and let the goodness leave their thoughts and do what they knew was wrong which later on failed them. They knew what and how they were going to be failed from their actions and still committed them anyways. Eventually, they got caught and had to serve their time in prison. However, another example of this quote is when a man started a campaign on how one experience had changed him to develop goodness and spread it. In his campaign he would explain to others and share his ideas on goodness and try to change them or at least apply what he was saying in their lives. He gave everyone after one of his teachings 2 hours to go do something kind for others and then report back and to feel good. At the end of the day we all must have an idea on what's going to happen next after our actions. We , well my teacher wants to make sure that you always and now he means ALWAYS!!!!! choose the right and be at level d the democra

"My basic principle is that you don't make decisions because they are easy: you don't make them because they are cheap: you don't make them because they're popular: you make them because they're right." Theodore Hesburg
This quote is pretty straight forward to be completely honest with you. He's implying that we should make decisions based on only one reason; which is to the right . So if its not the right reason then you shouldn't make the decisions based on it. For instance, like our teacher reminds of it constantly that we should learn and absorb on how we should chose the right 24/7. If we do the wrong thing then it would lead to consequences in the short term and the long term. If you knew that the decision that you are making on whether or not taking notes on the lesson. And being like I don't have to take good notes or any notes for that matter. I could always go the easy route and ask my friend , I don't know their name but their note taking skills will help me on the test. So I shouldn't have to worry about anything that she is telling us right now. That's wrong you chose the wrong and you made your decision based of it being easy and its a popular one that many individuals strive to take. Don't be a blender that gets caught up in the wrong side of the tracks. Be a leader that leads the people out of the tracks and in to the roads and the cities filled with many opportunities and chances to strive to greatness.
