"True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what's right "- Brigham Young
In our class today our teacher should us a video of Brigham Young University and how its amazing. He mentioned a couple of times on how once or when you choose to do the right thing that you will receive more freedom. For instance, if you were to behavior correctly and do what your suppose to do your parents would let you have more freedom. In other words you will be able to go out with your friends and have fun with no worries. But if you choose to go the other way around and choose the wrong. For example, argue and fight with them or your siblings then you wouldn't have independence or freedom. Instead you will have nothing and you would be at home. Also, when you choose to do something that you isn't right , you have to think twice about it before conducting the action. Do you know the consequences and is it worth it. Well no or yes, because you will pay for your doing in the log and short term run.

"They're only truly great who are truly good." -George Chapman
We were shown a video today in class that displayed this quote. There was a football team that was truly great and they were good. Now they had a kid that wanted to play football and score a touchdown but couldn't because he was disabled and he couldn't. So the team decide to make a play in which he was able to score a touchdown with out breaking any rules and following the guidelines. They played the play and he scored the touchdown, it was the best moment of his young life so far. The quote doesn't make sense in the proper usage of English but to the fellow spiritual people(not me), it makes perfect sense. In other words if you do good you feel good and you should think about others as well as yourself. Choose the right 24/7 like the football kids did and you will feel good and do great things. A bad example, is when you only are about yourself and no one else to get to the top. You end up cheating your way to the top and not learning the value of hard work and character.

"Great beauty, great strength, and great riches are really and truly of no great use; a right heart exceeds all."-Benjamin Franklin
In my personal opinion I think that no matter what you have you can overpower a great heart or a great strength or great beauty. The real reason why is because its been proven that that in the past the present and in the near future you choose and you set your mind to it then you can overpower anything. But, in this paragraph we are going to display Benjamin Franklin's quote. He thinks that with a good heart it exceeds all no matter the scenario. For instance, the video that we watched in class showed us how Mitch had a good heart and did what he thought was best at the moment to make his dad happy and forget that he was sick. Where he didn't have wealth or beauty he did have good heart which exceeded all. He would train everyday jn the morning to hit the weights and gain strength for his matches and once he was done then the matches would start and he would win almost every match . Match after match he would win till he went to state and he won and won everything else too. He made his dad really proud and knew he had done something right and they both ended up feeling good. Then that moment my teacher told us that he had chosen the right and what every you do will be with you in the long run. Another example is when, people that have riches think that they are entitled to things and think that everything comes easily, that's wrong. They are at a level c and choosing the wrong. So you see you choose the right and have a good heart you would live a long happy live.

In many people's eyes and thinking as the quote above states your have to ask your self the important question and act accordingly. In some cases, well to others they might say no or in all cases you have too. Which may be right or wrong and we all don't think alike, we all have our own mindset and choices which is what make me, me and you , you. For instance, the homeless man was asking for money on the street because he needed it for food or for anything, and this women gave him some spare change that she had. And accidentally she dropped her engagement ring in the cup with the change with out even realizing it. She went about her day and she didn't even know she lost it and dropped it in the cup. The homeless man saw the engagement ring and went to the nearest jewelry store to see how much it was worth and it was worth $4,000. He could of easily exchanged the ring and got the money and ended up the same way he started like two weeks later. But instead, he asked him self the important question and he decided that he would return the engagement ring to the lady and do what is right. And so he waited and soon turned it in to her when she came back three days later. She was so grateful that she even started a fund for him so he can gain more money to help him get back on his feet the right way. And lead to him gaining triple them money that the ring was worth and reunited with his family. By him the homeless man following the quote above and choosing the right he felt good and ended up with him getting taken care of. It could of gone the opposite way and he would of felt guilty and chosen the wrong. But he didn't and the turn out was phenomenal.

"Right is right only when entire."-Victor Hugo
In my personal opinion he is sort of speaking the truth and I agree but on a certain level when you are honest it might hurt others. For instance, when they ask you for your honest opinion and everyone is on the same side but you then it might lead to a heated discussion that will end up in hurting the other person or even you, only because you were honest. In those situations its best to agree with majority but to stick to your true thinking or you can keep it to yourself. But when your honest like on a test or like in s situation that you know won't hurt anyone but yourself then okay you have to be right because you are owning up to your mistakes and your dishonesty. An example to this is when you say," oh yeah,... I ....Hhhhhavvvven't smoked in two or was it three years." When you know you just had a smoke a couple of hours ago and it was your first some from two years ago going on three. You were honest but not entirely honest. Another example is when lets say you tell everyone around you I never done drugs before not even once, but you did and you just lied to everyone. It wasn't much but some is some. So you see in these two situations you were lying and that isn't right. Another example, is when you know that you did something right but at the same time you know what will happen if you tell, you will get in trouble. And f you tell you are doing what is right and owning up to it. So choose the right 86% of the time and the other 14% go with your instincts and know when have to keep it to your self so you don't hurt anyone.

"only those live who do god."- Count Leo Tolstoy
I believe that what Count Leo Tolstoy is trying to say that if you always do bad and don't do good then you are wasting your life. For instance a kid with cancer did good and is trying to survive and fight it. And an drug user whos perfectly healthy and is wasting their life on doing drugs when they can save it or the cancer patient can have it. Another example is when you choose to do wrong things or bad things that aren't acceptable and you aren't living life. you are living disaster and destruction. At the end of the day you either choose to do what is acceptable and right or the opposite. ITs your choose you are the only one that can choose for yourself no one else can.
