"The most important thing you will ever have is good values."-Dennis Prager

In my personal opinion, I believe this quote in a way needs to be modified on how it set out to educate others. For instance, he used the example of feelings versus values, on wither saving your drowning dog or a random person. He says your feelings are to save your animal and your values are to save the human. Since we eat animals we don't value them as much. On the other hand, we rather eat animals than eat humans. Which is true because we do value humans more but doesn't mean we shouldn't save our dog first. Another example that was shared with us was on how if we were to eat based on what we feel like eating then we will become obese.But if we were to eat our values then we will become healthy and our ideal image of thin. These two examples elaborate on the idea of values against feelings and how it natural for us to battle or to not battle our values every day. To learn how to battle your values every day and the world will become a better place.
