Our teacher showed us a clip of a movie that we forever touch our broken hearts, and remind us of the most memorable time in history that shaped not only, the world but one individual at a time. The clip was from a well-known movie that was released the year of 2014, Unbroken. The movie was not only based on the horrible time in the history of the war but focused on a young man named Louis Zamperini and his story. No matter how much they tortured him in Japan as a prisoner or the waves of the Pacific ocean. They would torture him, of starvation, hygiene, labor, and etc.. He still wouldn't stand with them if they told him to feed the public ears with lies. The thing he is well known for other than being an Olympian, survining in the World War II he forgave them. He had flown to Japan to forgive the general that would torture him day and night. And he lived by this quote of how holding a grudge and not being able to forgive the one that hurt you will not do any good to neither of you. Do the right thing, forgive those who have hurt you no matter if you aren't able to. Becuase deep down you will feel good.
